Beet and Carrot Juice

This juice is packed with vitamins and goodness. Beets (Beetroots) contain iron, folic acid and antioxidants and carrots contain vitamin A (Beta Carotene) along with vitamins B1, B3, B6, folic acid, potassium, iron and more. Carrots also contain fibre and have positive effects on our digestive system and are of course excellent to maintain healthy eyes. The ginger and apple are also healthy wonders as you might have heard one or two times before! You can make this juice without a juicer (as long as you buy organic beet juice, carrot juice, apple juice and pear juice) and you will have to grate the ginger yourself. It will still be a delicious and healthy juice of course.

Beet and Carrot Juice

Serves 2 people

  • 1 small piece fresh ginger (equal to a grape in size)
  • 2 large carrots
  • 1 small beet
  • 1 pear, ripe
  • 1 sweet apple

  1. Wash the beet, pear and apple and cut in large chunks so that they fit through the juicer's chute.
  2. Wash the 2 carrots.
  3. Place the beet, carrot and ginger in the juicer.
  4. Pour the liquid into a container.
  5. Now juice the apple and add to the container. Stir well.
  6. Serve immediately.

  • You can use an extra apple instead of the pear.
  • You can use more ginger if you prefer a stronger ginger taste.
