New Recipe: Carrot Frittatas

Hey guys, sorry about being so horrible in adding new content. It's just that (I know, same excuse every time) I have been so terribly busy. So.terribly.busy. I am now half way through the MA in Health Psychology. I am enjoying it very much but so relieved to get a little break for now. It's not like I have been lazy...not at all. In fact I have been very active in the kitchen although my menu mostly consists of pureed food in some form (for my 10 months son). It's an absolute joy to feed this gentleman (as it was his 2.5 year old sister).

Vantra - a lovely veggie place

Have been meaning to try out Vantra for a long time. Ever since I moved to London (roughly one thousand years ago). Their first place was in a shoebox. Literally. It was minuscule. Now they have moved to a bigger place and it has that "crunchy granola" look and feel. Exactly what one would expect from a place selling things like "nutmylk" (with a "y" because it's not milk). I had a smoothie today and it was lovely.

Cherries and Pears

Sometimes (well often) I can be such an idiot. I was not blessed with the talent of gardening. I am the worst gardener in history and everything that is supposed to be green and luscious dies or develops a disease or becomes very, very tragic looking. I am amazed that I am able to keep another human being (almost 2 year old) alive (and another one growing inside of me…due any day now). It’s a miracle really. I just wish I was one of those Earth Mothers type that turn everything that grows into fabulous vegetables, fruits and herbs to use in her cooking. That’s not me.
