Salads

I could not live without my salads. Sometimes I get a craving so bad I have to rush to the supermarket and buy the ingredients for a salad I have been dreaming about. Almost like an alcoholic but a little healthier addiction. Salads are like a vitamin injection because they contain so much good stuff, vitamins, minerals, fibre, protein, iron, calcium, folic acid. The list goes on and on. When dreaming of salads I love combining weird and wonderful things together like figs, oranges and olives or, lets say capers, feta cheese and grapes. It somehow always goes together, like magic!

Lunchbox Salad

I often make a large salad as a side dish to a dinner and pack the rest for my lunch the next day.

One of the reasons the Japanese live so long!

Tanzanian Sambaro Carrots

These carrots I often call "carrots with a twist" and I love them served as a side dish of African or Indian food.
